High Desert Fencing Alliance
Fencing is currently one of the fastest growing sports in the United States.  For the
first time in 100 years an American took a Gold medal in fencing during the 2004
Olympics.  This proved to the world that American fencing reached a new
competitive level. The numerous youth and beginner programs across the country
have helped make this a reality. Northern Nevada has a 50 year history of fencing
instruction and competition. High Desert Fencing Alliance is proud to offer a
competitive program, monthly classes and individual lessons at Reno Silver Blades
Fencing Academy.
The competative program is for students who
want to prepare themselves for regional and
national competition.  This program includes
individual lessons, bouting experience, drills, strip
coaching and team activities.  Students train
between three and five days a week, depending on
their  age and expierence. The Program cost is
$150 per month.

Coaching will also be available at local
tournaments and may be arranged for regional
and national events.
